More Celebrities and Pumpkins

For the first time in years, I've actually got the urge to carve pumpkins for Halloween.  But of course, this is the first Halloween that I live in a huge condo building with no front stoop to display them on.  Sad!  However, if I did have a stoop, I would most definitely be using these celebrity pumpkin templates from TMZ.  Can you imagine seeing Susan Boyle's face lit up on a pumpkin on someone's front porch? So funny!

Does Blake Lively ever not look good?  I've never seen anyone look this gorgeous while holding a pumpkin. I am constantly envious of her beautiful hair and perfectly put-together ensembles!

So cute, it hurts

So I'm sure most of you have seen this video by now of the two little British girls singing "Super Base."  It is seriously the cutest thing I've ever seen!  That is, until they were on Ellen yesterday.  They absolutely melted my heart with how adorable and not-shy they were.  And when Ellen surprised them with meeting Nikki Minaj herself, they totally lost it and actually jumped on her.  Just way too cute!

Inside Ellen's Home

I was so, SO excited when Ellen announced on her show last week that she and Portia and their home are on the cover of Architectural Digest this month!  The issue comes out this week and I cannot wait to buy it.  They give you a little sneak peek online and it only made me more anxious to see the rest.  Just the artwork alone in their home is enough to make you drool.

Bringing Back the Brooch

Ever since I saw Mondo wearing an adorable hot pink sea-horse brooch on Project Runway last season, I've been considering wearing a statement brooch of my own.  I haven't found the perfect one for me yet, and I keep hesitating on whether or not I should even get one.  But then I saw my girl Kate wearing one in Canada, and I know they are safe to wear.  So I've decided to resume my search and make it happen.

I did get the ban.do mini heart pin, which I love.  I feel like it's a good starter-brooch.  And it doesn't hurt that it's entirely made of sequins!  I love pinning this on a blazer for work.  It adds just enough sparkle.

I'm also kind of digging this bike brooch from Howkapow.  It has the perfect amount of whimsy to spice up an outfit.

Clueless

One of my favorite feel-good movies of all time, has to be Clueless.  This movie can put a smile on my face any day of the week.  One of the best parts of it is all of Cher's fabulous and loud outfits (remember her amazing motorized closet?!?!)  I just came across this hilarious video of all of Cher's outfits from the movie in under 60 seconds.  Genius.

Marks & Spencer

When I was in London, Marks & Spencer was one of my favorite stores.  It had just about everything, from clothes, to shoes, to groceries (including the most delicious soups!)...it was really similar to Target.  I was reading the Daily Mail's website this morning and found out that the new Marks & Spencer ad campaign is featuring Ryan Reynolds (adore him!) and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley.  A totally different look for them, and the photos are just gorgeous!

LC Style

This book is on my list of books to purchase next.  I adore Lauren Conrad's style.  She always looks so chic and well put-together.  She's got such a classic, mature style about her that I would love to have. And she's just so gorgeous!  I've heard great things about her style book and I can't wait to check it out!  Plus it will look so pretty on my coffee table :)

Bieber Yourself

Have you seen this new site, I Am Bieber where you can "Bieber Yourself" ?!?!?!   It's totally ridiculous and totally awesome at the same time.   I think I look better as Bieber than I did when I actually was a teenager...
